RUBY RED S550 MUSTANG Thread

No offense intended and I know photographers are particular about how their work is used but it's one of the most modified cars in history so people wanna know what it looks like with various changes. You should take it as a complement to how great your photos are. Of course they should definitely keep your watermark on it.

They did have the sense to keep the mark on it. But it has sense gone around and others have taken it off. They didn't really do anything worth while on it except for stick on a logo. That is serious about all they did to it. Since then I've seen some with the background completely replaced and my watermark gone. I don't mind that people do this but what got me as they didn't ask like others have

I've been waiting to see this! It was fun being on the set!

All they did to that photo was add the intercooler through the grill and the emblem. Other than that there is absolutely no changes made to that photo. i should know, I took it. I didn't photoshop it though. That open grille is the same size as the normal grille. American Muscle is who photoshopped it and I am not happy about it. :paddle:
no changes ? you forgot how your orig. pic did look ;)

and it was me who pchoped it, without to ask you :D

Oh so you mean the lack of a giant emblem in the middle of the grill is no change?...I really didn't even notice the intercooler. I was simply stating that a minimalistic emblem really changes the look of the car. It is a simple change but the mustang looks really good without an emblem in the middle of the grill. That is all i meant by being open. With the previous gen mustang I was a little iffy on the look of an emblem-less grill or having an offset pony style grill. But on this gen, I am pretty certain I will be using an optional/aftermarket grill.

Sorry man, but you need to get over this. You posted the pic - someone else edited it and kept your logo, thus giving you credit. Heck, more eyeballs saw your logo so you should be happy.

And from what I have seen, they did a great job making your photo better than what you posted - even before changing the grille.

I have even had part designs "stolen" from my work I posted online. I took it as flattery that it was built even though I never saw a dime. It is these nature of the internet. Don't like it? Don't post pictures.

Those were the only two changes made. They removed the pony, added the snake, and an intercooler. Otherwise the car is the same. If Ford were to do a Super Snake you can bet that the entire clip would be different from a GT. The GT500s were. Oh and I guess they brightened it up a bit. I kept it dark to try and emphasize the LEDs in the headlights. Its not the changes they made that tick me off anyway. Its more the fact that permission was asked for. Its like taking a Van Gogh or Rembrandt and altering it. Not that I am comparing myself to them by any stretch but just to get my point across. At any rate no point in arguing about it now. I was in a pissy mood when I came across it the first time. I don't care now. Someone had told me to take it as a good thing that someone liked it enough to use it. :headbang:

Black wheels from a distance = :barf:

Ruby looks really dark there. I have a feeling this color will look awesome or kind of blah depending on lighting.
