For the American Idol finalists, their time spent in Hollywood is mostly made up of rehearsals or even catching up on schoolwork. Their life has become a bit of a routine, so any break from the competition is more than welcome. EW was with the Idols for one of those occasions, as they filmed a new commercial for the 2015 Ford Mustang on Sunday in Los Angeles’ Griffith Park.

My wife watches American Idol. Apparently it's on tonight, so I wouldn't be surprised if they aired something with the Mustang tonight since its the 50th anniversary. I'm gonna watch and find out.

Edit: you hear my dogs' tags in the background. My wife called me in and said the Mustang is on TV - both dogs know my car as the Mustang and thought they were going for a ride haha.

I literally didn't know which color to go for until I entered this thread. I never really liked the darker "lazer," "torch," and "lava" reds of most cars (especially Mustangs)... but the Ruby Red looked okay on some '14s that I've seen, so I started to think about it. Then, I saw this thread... man, this color was MADE to be on this car. The 2015 Mustang looks sleek, refined, and yet still muscular with Ruby Red. All the other colors seem to lose one or two of those qualities, but Ruby Red has all three.
I actually chose my forum member name because of this thread.
Hopefully I still feel this way after seeing all the colors in person. If not, I'll have to make a new account, haha.

With the new body, it really is hard to determine which colours really work best unless seen in person. I am first in line at my dealer to order and I can't pick a colour. Other than eliminating race red and black, I'm spoiled for choice. Do like the Wimbledon White though.

I do like the 2015 with a nice open grill and a smaller inconspicuous emblem. I think it makes it look more aggressive

All they did to that photo was add the intercooler through the grill and the emblem. Other than that there is absolutely no changes made to that photo. i should know, I took it. I didn't photoshop it though. That open grille is the same size as the normal grille. American Muscle is who photoshopped it and I am not happy about it.
