I just got my car back from getting tint Friday and the RTR grille installed today. Since I told a fellow 6G member I'd post pics of the grille I figured I'd do a new thread.

This first pic is at the shop getting the tint done.

Next is post-tint but pre-Rudy's BBQ (for lunch.)

I'm including a pic of the stock grille for comparison with the RTR. It's dark but you can see the detail in both grilles.

RTR:

The thing I was most pleasantly surprised about was that the RTR grille is much "deeper" than the stock grill, so it really gives you that jet intake aesthetic, which is what I like. Also the quality of the parts are on par with the OEM grille.

Even the body shop that installed the grilles said they were impressed with the quality of the two pieces. I debated doing it myself but wanted them to address the horrible gap along the edge of the hood while they were doing the grille, which is something I wouldn't be able to do. They were also cheaper than me buying jack stands, chocks, etc.

I highly recommend the RTR grille and Formula 1 Pinnacle tint. Both great products.

And one final pic:

Thank you!

I went with 5% on the back window and quarter panels, 35% on the doors (darkest legal tint in Texas), and "Air 90" on the windshield. It is a slight blue hue but is there to block out UV rays.

I was amazed by how much better my white Mustang looked with tinted windows.

Looks really good, where did you get the grill installed
Thanks fstang24! I got it installed at Collision Craft in Hutto. They were quick, friendly, and fixed the hood gap for free (they only charged me for the grille install). They also said it was nice to work on a car that didn't need to be repaired from damage. :)

If I ever get an aftermarket hood I'll take it back to them to install. Same with any paint chips or dings I get.

Every car looks better with tinted windows in my opinion, but the white paint really adds that contrast that can't be beat!

Looks really good! Is the lower grill material the same as the upper?

Both upper and lower grilles are made of a pretty dense "heavy duty" plastic. With the stock grille in my hand, both grilles feel the same in quality, though the RTR grill is slightly more flexible and the stock grille is stiffer.

I prefer the RTR look and the fitment is perfect.

I thought about doing the windshield but I was concerned with the blue tint. Do you find it difficult to see with at night, or any adverse affects at all? Including wearing polarized sunglasses while driving?
