Looking for reviews on the big mouth with the revision with the stock gt fang grille.

How does it fit? Any gaps etc between the grille and the big mouths?

I’m considering ordering both left and right, and if anyone has grabber blue post it up.

I’m hesitant ordering the gb color and not matching. In that case I’d go black.

Here’s my car. Thinking of deleting the left and right honeycombs entirely, or just opening them up. Undecided.

Opinions on that too are welcomed.

My car has the factory grill but the honeycombs have been cut off and mesh inserts installed. I just got the velossa tech in black so you can’t tell unless you face is up against the grill. No gap’s whatsoever though. Completely sealed from the grill opening to the air box

I think the only way to 100% match your finish is to have them painted, I haven’t really understood why more people haven’t done that :like:

nah its fine. I was just thrown off, looked like a bulb in there. I am thinking about going either black, or getting a set custom painted by a paint shop in GB. or not doing it at all. but I think they look quite neat.

The function alone is worth the price of admission. I think the color coordinated ones look kinda cool. But I’m a subtle type of dude so color matched ones are toeing the line. Ones with lights were out of the question for me. They do have a shiny/gloss like finish to them. It’s hard to tell when they’re tucked in behind the grill.

I’ve had my velossa tech on for a few seasons. I’m not an IAT nut, but in the summer during low speed driving and even in traffic, the highest I've seen is 15-20*F above ambient with the factory intake system

edit- lets say you get splashed with hose or a car wash. do you think the slope of the big mouth, would run majority of the water down out the front part of the snorkel? I mean, its behind the grille, so it should just run down, since the opening of the snorkel is higher.
