Roush can't tune their own stuff? WTF! I've come to the conclusion that they suck. It's been a crappy experience since I bought the damn thing. Their customer service is horrible. :frusty:

Many get enamored with the name but this is a common theme. They do big things well, they struggle on the small things. But of course the small things add up.

I would honestly say, get a Lund or PBD tune, you will be far happier. You will make more power with less issues.

Very well said. These are the 2 I'm looking at. Roush needs to refund my money for the tune.

The Roush SC is a great unit that can put down a lot of power. The only thing holding it back is the tune, because it's just too conservative. Get Lund to tune it and you'll have one incredible blower, but then you should get Lund to tune everything.

Ok, just got a reply from Roush and they have stopped selling the phase 2 kits because of a tune issues. They confirmed the pedal response issue and the code problem. They don't have an ETA for the fix. If anyone wants to see their email reply I will post it. Thanks to bill from cjpony parts for helping me get a hold of Roush.

Not gonna lie, I got caught up in the name as well and was pretty new to modding mustangs, despite the research, lol. I'm happy with everything I've done thus far, but I'd definitely do it differently next time. I can also attest to the quality of customer service (does not fit the name and expectations IMHO), although Kyle here is absolutely awesome.

+1 for Lund tune here. Running their tune on my phase 2 setup and it's nothing short of amazing. Combine that with 2-3 minute response times on emails .

Absolutely brother!
Just do a search for TVS superchargers out there. They are great. It's just the Roush tune that holds them back.

I have the stage 2 and it has fouled the plugs 2 Times and Ford installed it and they don't know why so I took to hpp motorsport to check it out and found out it is running rich and only made 570 rwhp so I called roush and they where real nice they said they are working on the the issue and offered to send me the parts for stage 1 and pay for Ford to install the part so I can drive my car until they fix the issue

Alton, where did you get the tune from? Prices seem high, $900!!! Where are the good prices at?

Does he require new injectors, the Roush injectors are near their ceiling?

Both will typically require new injectors. I would honestly contact Ken directly at PBDyno, he's tuning all our cars and everyone of us are beyond impressed.

I'm doing it anyway. From everything I've heard sounds like Ken is the guy.

I Went With Ken Also Just Waiting To Install The New Injectors And A Harness. From All The Stuff I Have Read It Sounds Like He Is On Top Of it.

I did find out today that the sct can't tune over the Roush tune. It has to be flashed back to factory by the dealer 1st. The Lund ngauge can flash over it
