Hey guys long time lurker first time poster. I recently installed a Roush Phase 2 supercharger kit on my 2019 Mustang GT and am now having trouble getting the car to run. I used a PBD custom tune from the start because I want to retain the voucher in the event I ever sell the car.

The issue:
The car will turn over and start strong but immediately dies. It acts as if it's possibly looking for the MAF sensor the Roush kit deleted. I have fault codes P0103 and P0113 which are both related to the missing MAF. I verified the blockoff is properly installed into the MAF plug. I checked the MAF to MAP harness and verified the pinout on the ECU plug. I can get the car to run by disconnecting the PCV system from the blower which allows it to suck in enough air to idle. I did reinstall a MAF tube and the sensor which is the longest I got it to idle. It idled for about 5 seconds until I gave it a quick rev to which it immediately died and wouldn't restart again. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated.

Did not run on Roush tune it's my understanding the voucher is "consumed" on use and the tune cannot be backed up.

I did contact PBD. Just making sure I'm not missing anything obvious on my end.

I have a PBD tune on my Phase 2 kit, but i had the Roush tune on first. I wonder if the PBD tune is already expecting the adjustments for the MAF to MAP. If your getting those codes, then that is going to be your issue. I bet they can correct it or worst case you throw on the Roush tune then load the PBD. The Roush tune was ok, but the PBD tune really woke the car up.

Yeah the Roush tune needs to be flashed first which brings me to my next problem. Roush is wanting a 4 digit Tear Tag#. I checked the Tag on the PCM but I don't see it called out like on older vehicles. Where is this located?

Wish i could help you on that aspect. I know the 18+ don't have it on the side of the computer like the older cars did. The roush tune install was done without me around.

Best bet may be calling or emailing Roush and provide them your VIN to see if they can let you know what it is. They have been pretty responsive the few times i reached out with questions.\

Best of luck

Pablo had it stored over at PBD from my NA tune. Thanks for the help hopefully this beast will get back on the road today. Another bit of info if anyone ever runs into it. If the Roush RDT asks for the tear tag # simply disconnect from the vehicle and reconnect. The next time you connect it will automatically pull the number and it will only ask for the voucher information. The only time it asks for the TT# on the 18+ is if you try flashing on the same session as your initial connection to the vehicle.
