I installed the phase 2 727 hp and I can tell you that the roush tune is so conservative that it gives me a p061b code and car goes limp. Called them several times, left messages cause they don't answer, emailed several times and still no contact with them. Car also hesitates slightly.
I agree that it is conservative. But that's for a reason. They offer a warranty with it! They aren't going to get crazy with the tune and risk issues all over the country. I have had mine now for 2 months and haven't any issues or codes. Runs damn strong for a streetcar. I have thought about going Lund, but haven't really made up my mind yet!

I agree they have it conservative for a reason, but if your spending that kind of cash or an upgrade i think most will be disappointed. I'm going Lund because I went FI to have a monster. The Roush tune definitely does not make it a monster.

I think that depends on what you have owned prior. For me, this is the most powerful car I have owned. So, it feels like a monster. But, if you have already been in the FI game for a while, totally see your point. For all of us speed freaks, we will always want more. If you told me 10 years ago that we would be daily driving a 740hp mustang, I would have said you were whack. :headbang:

Ok, just got a reply from Roush and they have stopped selling the phase 2 kits because of a tune issues. They confirmed the pedal response issue and the code problem. They don't have an ETA for the fix. If anyone wants to see their email reply I will post it. Thanks to bill from cjpony parts for helping me get a hold of Roush.

on pump, you could probably get away with a bap with the injectors you have, but the ids will ensure plenty of fuel for you.

our custom lund tune and ngauge would make a nice addition to the package you already have

Stupid question guys. I have the phase 1 and it pulls very strong but I'm already used to it and don't want to return or void my warranty can I do a bigger throttle body or injectors or anything to add horsepower without having to retune?

Just to share. Here is the stock TB with the TVS, the Whipple Mono which makes big big power and is the largest true bolt-on TB for the TVS, and the new KB168 that I am going to modify the TVS case to make fit.

And to add, I have been working on some custom filters for TVS kits.

I have finally ended up with the absolute largest and highest flowing filter possible for the kit that can retain the OEM Airbox with slight modding.

The thought is to have a filter that will support big power with the rest of the inlet system being stock...and modding the air-box so to fit the large filter AND to open it up for improved airflow for those looking to retain the upper lid (cooler IATs and protect water from the filter when you remove hood vents)

I just need to get some time to have someone test these. I suspect when you get to the 700rwhp range, just this filter should be worth some solid power gains (for the low price$$)

I won't know until I can test it.

I was thinking about buying another S550 for my wife with the Base Roush Kit on it to test with. But, well, my wife said no... HA

Kelly, you know you don't need to do all this R&D, I can just send you a big box and all this is done already :)
