is this possible on Roush Tune? I've have this setup with auto and with the canned tune I wasn't even close. Skill is a factor in the 1/4 miles, but on rolling races no way he beats some of those cars with canned tune. I'm skeptical!! Canned tune not that much better then stock GT, Lund...
Beefcake says smaller pulley and BAP, will be cheaper then phase two kit since i dont need roush tune. Kit also includes spark plugs not sure if those are needed. no new injectors yet i guess.
OK. I have the 16 GT with auto, corsa extreme, ford track pack, lund tune just dialed in through beefcake. whats the next mod? this is getting real fun!
I'm not crazy about losing the warranty, but I was really disappointed by the roush tune. I wanted a really fast car and that what i have now. if it blows up that will suck! but that seems to be pretty rare if ever with a phase 1 and lund tune.
not to hijack, but got to really drive my car at wot with the lund tune. Holy shit what a difference. its like it was not even supercharged before. now this is what i spent thousands for!!
today on the way home a mid 2000 carrera pulled up next to me and gave me the nod. i was so tempted, but lund said NO BOOST. I almost risked it but i used severe self control.
i did the first log and he said it looks good, did the second cruising log and he has not replied yet. after he sees cruising log will adjust or leave alone. then wot log for final possible revision. so i cant tell yet because i have to take it very easy. i'm very impatient, i been waiting...
FYI, not sure if relevant, but I have the roush stage 1, only about three weeks old. the n gauge did over ride the roush tune no problem today, thats the stage 1 though, not the stage 2.
I agree they have it conservative for a reason, but if your spending that kind of cash or an upgrade i think most will be disappointed. I'm going Lund because I went FI to have a monster. The Roush tune definitely does not make it a monster.
