He's not telling him to sell his TVS and buy a Whipple he's telling him to get a better tune so it makes better power.
I absolutely agree that getting a Lund tune will wake the fire up in that supercharger, and I've recommended it before. The Roush tune is terrible, but the Roush SC is not. I am so used to seeing Whipple guy badmouth Roush I suppose it is hard to see anything else in his posts.

That's what I"m thinking. He is just trying to steer me in the right direction. Its just going to take more coins to get-r-done.Which should of been done first time around. At 73 yrs. old I appreciate all the help I can get. I was a Grand National owner for over 15 years. This is all new to me.So again. Thank you all for the help.

Lund has a good tune for these blowers. I have the 670 kit with just a catback, drag radials. I have [email protected] and almost made 133mph on another pass. I know a few that run high 11's @116 with the Roush tune. It is a pretty bad tune especially for us automatic people

My stage 1 kit with 670 tune just made 593/507 on a dynojet earlier today. Airbox lid off and 3" Atak catback are the only mods I have that would impact the numbers.

Well guy in the next town took his 2017 GT w/ same everything as mine. His is auto. He made 598 HP on same Dyno as I used. Close to 50 HP difference. Now I am really confused.

They vary, that's a calibration issue.

The only thing I would check, verify the intercooler routing is correct. The cold side should feed the bottom of the intercooler. If the routing is backwards it will have an air pocket and cause temp issues, resulting in lower power. But, if I'm not mistaken, you bought the car done from Roush's largest dealer, I would think they would've dyno'd after and had enough experience to install correctly.

You are not mistaken. Now I got to determine which side is what. You guys are awesome.

Mine did 587/476 on a Dynojet with only other mod being FRPP X-Pipe. This was a 670 kit with the FRPP tune, not Roush.

Just follow from the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger "TOP" fitting is the cold side and that should then go to your IC bottom fitting. The top fitting in the intercooler core is the out, which goes to the degas bottle.

my friend has a Roush kit/tune and made 580/508 last week. Decent #'s, but I'd still get some ID1000's and a tune from Bjonnes, he has these Roush blowers down to a science.

Have always heard good things about PB dyno and Bjonnes, another option recently is Brenspeed. They have a Stage 3 Roush car with their tune in it and it just went 10.29 at mid 130's at Bowling Green. This was in place of the Roush phase 2 tune. Keep in mind this is a 4000+lb car with a full cage (pig).

Yeah dude, those TVS cars are no joke!
VMP makes a killer kit as well as Roush. (I'm not talking about the Roush tune here, I'm talking about the supercharger itself.) Whipple, KB and Procharger are all tops as well.
Turbo are the fastest I do believe.

Roush tune blows. Palm Beach Dyno woke this GT up. I have messed around with many tuners over the years but Palm Beach is different. Ken knows his stuff.
