Checked out their website and pulled the trigger. Ordered their product b/c I've already got a few tiny chips and want keep her looking good.
BUMMER!!!I decided to try out that drcolorchip as well. I picked up 4 chips on the first day driving her home from Baltimore where I bought it. Figured I'd try this out and get it repaired before the chips would get worse.... really worried about it color matching but I watched a ton of youtube videos and seems it's working for a lot of people.
luckily my rock chips are REALLY small...but my 75 year old grandmother saw the two on the hood as small as they were, granted the sun was BLARING on the car lol. I've felt sick since I washed it this past saturday for the first time and discovered these chips.
+ 1 on Dr. Color Chip. Had a nice chip on the back side of my LR wheel well and I was pleased with the result. Easier to use than touch up paint.
how was the match. I see you have CO, so interested in your thoughts.+ 1 on Dr. Color Chip. Had a nice chip on the back side of my LR wheel well and I was pleased with the result. Easier to use than touch up paint.
Good to know. Thanks for the tip.I have found that the color match on Dr. Color chip is really good and I have used it on 3 cars. The problem is that when you rub off the excess using their product, it sometimes removes the color you have applied to the chip. It sometimes takes 2 or 3 tries to do it.
For those who have used Dr. Color Chip... It shows Ebony Black for 2015 Mustang, but my window sticker says Raven Black.I have found that the color match on Dr. Color chip is really good and I have used it on 3 cars.
