I recently had this done. Dealer said its a 4 hour repair. They gave me a loaner and when I came back 5 hours later the car had not moved. They said only 1 guy in the service area was trained to do the repair. Came back 90 min later and it was done.

I've decided to sell as the wife and I are down sizing. Original Owner, garaged and covered, kept to high standards by car enthusiast, 6 speed, It was fun but car is sold.

My experience with 2 Ford service departments is less then good. They hire kids who don't care about anything that is not on a cell phone. I love it when the kid working on the car leaves his gorilla foot prints and dirty hand prints all over the interior. I realize it not going to be cleaned...

I have been holding off on my rant but......... Ford Service is a joke. Started with my delivery when they only had 1 key. It took a month and dozens of calls and a couple of trips back to get the second key. Then 3 weeks to get a $10 fender clip, now I sit and wait for a shield that was...

Funny, that exact area is where I have an alignment issue. It keeps popping out when I push it back in... I'm taking it in and not putting up with it. Cant wait to hear what they say.

This is the passenger door, but the drivers door has the same thing. Does anyone else have these ? They are sizable.
