Hi all, have run into a unique situation with my passenger side power window.

I had an audio system installed a little while ago, and the shop told me the RH power window motor blew during the install. All fuses were replaced, and it didn’t appear to be a switch issue since neither the Driver side or passenger side control can operate the window.

installed a new window motor, and it now does the auto lower/raise when opening and closing the door, but I still don’t have control using the window switches. A shop just diagnosed this as potentially needing the switches replaced and/or having the new motor “programmed”. Is this something I could use Forscan to do, as far as programming or reprogramming is concerned?

Thanks in advance!

thanks so much @Cobra Jet . One thing I’m seeing on the first thread is a mention about a Door Control Module. Does anyone have any experience replacing one of those, and if so how much reprogramming is necessary? And I’m not sure if it controls the door lock, but that is functional…
