2018 GT Premium intelligent access not working after window tinting

I had a shop tint my windows and now I realize the intelligent access on the passenger door handle is not functioning. Is it a coincidence that it has failed or is there something they maybe left unplugged or broke (if they had to remove the door panel) which could be causing my issue?

I have had my car tinted as well it should not affect intelligent access. That being said I haven't tried using the passenger side to lock or unlock.

So I determined tonight that it has to do with water. It works intermittently
