Seeing how many it’s taken to get your ESS setups dialed in and what the turn around time has been to get the revisions.

I’m waiting on one now since the base map is giving me issues. And didn’t know what to expect in turn around time

Turnaround time is pretty tuner specific, but most take about 3 business days. I know when we sell Lund tunes for those ESS setups, it is typically only 2-3 revisions.

Wengerd did mine. Sent the tune file same day. Only needed one revision to adjust idle slightly (that was also sent same day) I heard back from them very quickly Everytime.

My ESS set up was pretty mild. Suppose things can differ depending on complexity.

Mine isn’t crazy build, pretty standard ESS build. And is only 93 tune. I had to send a few logs over last 2 days. cold start, low rpm cruising in town and above 5k.

And have only driven it for logs and haven’t driven it since then. Not that I want to pay for another tune. But I need a car I can drive and do not want to drive it this like it is right now

Yep, that's good ol'daryl. I sent him a request today and he responded yesterday 🤣 he'd very responsive but we also need to be realistic. My setup took 1 revision and it was a minor fueling revision.

Im also only on 93

It did take me some time to send logs over. But it was related to work and weather getting in my way. But the second I would load the logs id hear right back.

I felt the same as you, got the base tune and was hesitant to drive it around like normal but still needed to DD. They are closed on weekends and of course I didn't get the base tune loaded till Friday evening.

The base tune for me was pretty much spot on though. And I did drive around DD. I got some advice from Brevin that weekend to help calm any fear.(Super knowledgeable with ESS, and great dude).

Long story short driving around normally on the base was fine. I didn't do any WoT till I got the green light though. I assume the base tune is the "safe tune" and as the logs roll in they can decide if they wanna get more aggressive with things perhaps

But I think if you drive conservatively and watch your gauges you'll be fine.

You need to drive it so it will learn your driving habits and the tune

I've put 5-600 miles on it. In town, highway, etc. The cold starts at 1-2k+ rpms at 0600-0700 aren't going well with my neighbors. It hasn't gotten any better. And I cannot drive WOT all the time. Should be getting an update in next few days.

Who on earth is doing your tuning? I've never had tuning revisions take more than a day and half, start to finish. As long as your responsive, logging and sending back right away, it should be quick to get dialed in.

I had issues with sending logs initially. So I loaded them and emailed them few days ago on Aug 4th . I can see what's wrong when I go through the logs. But I'm not a tuner. Tuner went on vacation or SEMA type thing.

I'm at the point that I wish I didn't boost it. It drives terrible compared to stock. It'll get better, but as of right now I don't even want to drive it.
