It would probably be beneficial if you told us what the problems were that developed, and why you think/know they were linked to a tune. Please keep updating your experience here! I had an extremely similar experience with a tune, almost word for word on your full discloser. A few months later, when I had massive problems, I never posted them. Different car altogether, SAAB 9-3T but still.
I'm very hopeful you won't have any. The tune was fantastic! What it did to the rest of the car, not so much.

everyone says, hey..if the tune causes issues...just reload your factory tune. Well that's ok, if your transmission isn't toast. Then you're just back to your factory settings, out $399 and Tony the transmission guy puts his kids through karate classes.
The tune was fine! Perfect! And was done by a major tuner.Your bitterness to tunes is palpable, maybe you should've done your research on who did your tune before uploading something to your car. It's as much your responsibility as the tuners. You've explained your "issues" before, and they still don't make much sense.
I didn't know that. If that's the case, I wouldn't have any worries about the transmission. It has a 6R80 in it...the same trans that is in the GT and that holds up to 1k wheel HP in stock form. I think it will hold up to the EcoBoost. I am also 44 and I have been putzing with cars since I was a kid. I am not worried about the transmission or the ignition in these cars holding up. I am worried about running out of fuel at some point.

Loonysup, is the tune the only mod you made so far? I ask bc I expect to get just the tune for now and maybe get the intake and exhaust later. I wonder how much it hinders the performance not getting the intake and exhaust with the tune. Any one have experience with this? Oh, and thanks, very insiteful review. Nube here too.
Clutch is different, MT-82 trans is the same. You will definitely need a clutch upgrade if you have a 6 speed and want to pour the coals to it.Granted, one of the tuners here on the forum did state that the clutch was causing trouble @ about 400 wheel TQ in the EB. Not sure if it's s the same as the GT.
