I contacted Torrie. First I would like to say that he replies within minutes! Great support!

However, I sent him the numbers on my car's PCM. He came back with an estimation that my PCM is unsupported and that he would need me to have an SCT device in the vehicle to verify further. Unfortunately I do not have one... Moreover, according to the information provided by cjponyparts, the SCT X4 and SCT BDX devices are not compatible with Euro spec cars. I do not know if this is accurate information, but that's what they say

I would definitely prefer to go with the Unleashed Tuning approach for my car, but it seems that this not possible. Any ideas or feedback by anyone who drives a EU spec Mustang Ecoboost?
Is your car LHD or RHD?
I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but mine is LHD and when I sent a Torrie the vehicle strategy, he said it was compatible.

I might email him again.

Just a note, but my Japanese market Ecoboost is very early Euro Spec. RHD wasn't in production yet, so I wonder if my actual vehicle (aside from white tail lights, non functioning tri-bars, etc.) is more mechanically more US Spec than Euro?

Thanks for the info Jeff. My car is a LHD, like yours.

How did you manage to get your vehicle strategy and send it to him? Do you already have a tuning device like the the SCT X4? Unfortunately I do not have one and I am not going to buy it because, as I said in my post, according to the information provided by cjponyparts, the SCT X4 and SCT BDX devices are not compatible with Euro spec cars. I do not know if this is accurate information, but that's what they say on their web site.

Still waiting for feedback from others who drive a EU spec Mustang Ecoboost.

Yes, I already had the SCT X4 because I had an Ecoboost when I was home in the States for a year and a half. I ran an Unleashed Tune and it was awesome!
I plugged it in and it read the strategy just fine...

Update: I read on another thread that "another option for EU cars is SCT, they have a specific EU tune now".

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1686180#post1686180

So I contacted directly SCT (sctflash.com) yesterday to ask them if their devices are compatible with the EU spec Mustang EcoBoost or not and I am waiting for their reply. It seems that the SCT X4 comes preloaded with a tune, like the Accessport. If their answer is that they support the EU models, then I will choose that instead of the Accessport. I have heard very good things about their tunes.

Anyway, if anyone has any information that they support the EU models, can you please share it with us? That would be very helpful.

Just ordered a tune from Torrie for my EcoBoost Premium, PP Manual. Will be interesting to see how it works out! Will keep you guys updated :) Had a BAMA tune on my previous Auto EcoBoost (Standard), so will be be able to give a decent comparison.

I would suggest ordering directly via unleashedtuning. I ordered from AmericanMuscle due to having $30 Store Credit, and the request process is clunky...

Error I get when I go to look at my Ticket for the AM Order

{"error":"Couldn't authenticate you"}

Thanks, AmericanMuscle.

So I just got my tune files from AM... and they're being stored against BamaPerformance. I'm going to Email Torrie and see if he's actually the one that did these.

Edit; emailed Torrie directly and he sorted out the confusion pretty quickly. Will update how the tunes play out!

Tune in, and it's working pretty well, the car is unhinged in Sports mode <3 HOWEVER, I am hearing an odd 'clicking noise' at high revs and WoT. Any idea what that might be guys? I had the same issue with the BAMA Tune on my old Auto Ecoboost.

Just puttin' in a VERY good word for Torrie because he deserves it...

This guy is the bomb. Incredibly fast response times - from Torrie and the car :). He takes the time to explain stuff, and I feel like a valued customer.

My mods are nothing special, at least in my mind. But combined with Torrie's tune, I raced a 2016 Mustang 5.0 GT with a aftermarket exhaust, for over a half-mile the other day. We started at a stop light. The results: I was even with him all the way until 5th gear, then he pulled me by no more than a car length before we stopped for the next traffic light. The guy I raced was very surprised. Here's the kicker, I'm haven't had Torrie optimize my tune through data logging! I'm waiting for it to cool off in September, but it will be nice to see the hp and torque gains. So thanks Torrie

'16 GT owner with an Unleashed tune (intake, CB exhaust), been running it for 3 months, runs flawless and it's like a totally different car.

I know this is an Ecoboost section, just wanted to put in a good word for Torrie

I hear more of a fluttering tick - but I think it is the design of the stock down pipe.

As long as it's unmarried you should have zero issue, but you will have to pay for a new tune as it's a new car.
