Interesting. The issue on the 2019 cars is well known. I was not aware that some 2018 models are also impacted. I have a later (March 2018) build and no issues.

edit: checked and no recall on my 2018

SHIT !!!! I hope my 2019 is not affected by this.

I cringe at the thought of a dealership mechanic touching my car to do this repair.

I have an early 2019 GT350R (KR039) and I have not received a recall notice ?

mine is number 413. I'll have to check the manufacture date when I get home.

the notices are being mailed out the last week of this month.

Mine has an issue that is similar to what is described here, but not exactly the same. Mine is also on the list.

FWIW, I would NOT track mine with the issue it has, I would highly recommend fixing this as the actual shift lever can move up and down if you give it a lot of force (lengthening and shortening the throw of the shift, and also screwing up the reverse lockout).

you can go on FordPas app on your phone. If your car is up for recall it will show the notification.

Just got mine back from the dealer yesterday... looks like I'll be taking it back. Lucky me!

Thank you for the link, my 2019 R KR039 is effected and they are checking on part availability. Once I know that we can get it done. This site is so informative for so many things like this. Grateful for the heads up before my track season starts.
