Wouldn't that $50 charge be included in the $200 charge for the return system tune?Lund charged me $200 for the return system. $50 for a new gas tune and $150 for the E85 tune.
Pretty sure that's what he's saying. $50 of the $200 was for pump, and $150 was for E85.Wouldn't that $50 charge be included in the $200 charge for the return system tune?
You are correct in your interpretation of what I was saying. 50 of the 200 was pump 150 of the 200 was E85.Pretty sure that's what he's saying. $50 of the $200 was for pump, and $150 was for E85.
Anybody know if Ken at PBD has fixed his issues getting tunes and revisions out? If they're gonna charge me $400 I'm going to look for a new tuner.
I did...we'll see what they say. I had previously been working with Jon II and Jon Jr. on my tunes, and today I got a response from someone else. If they require another entire remote tuning session just to switch to a return system, that's crazy. No other tuner charges that much. You are correct in your interpretation of what I was saying. 50 of the 200 was pump 150 of the 200 was E85.
It might be worth talking to Lund again and ask them why the price jumped or if you can get the $200 price that everyone else on this forum has gotten. Doesn't hurt to ask.
(Q)How different is the tune for a return system? How different is the tune for a return system? How much did you guys pay for a retune? Lund wants $400 and that seems kinda steep to me for not a huge change.
That tends to the the case many times, if it ran good before it will run good after you go return style.Changed mine to a return system from the stock system with BAP ...My tune was still right on the money .. Sai Li put it on the dyno and checked it and it needed nothing ..
