I have a 2019 that had a MSRP of $50,185 though did get a discount off that when I bought it new. Just saw a used one for sale at $55,495. Prices are crazy 3 years old and more then MSRP and 3 yr/36000 warranty must be up or close to it.

Prices are crazy right now...that's for sure. Especially if you have a specialty car like a bullet, gt350 or gt500. Not so much for regular mustang gt's, I think. Was trying to sell my gorgeous 2021 gt convertible that has a dealer installed phase 2 roush supercharger with only 3800 miles and did not have much luck. Have almost 70k into the car and could not sell for 57k.

Convertibles are a different market unfortunately. Regular GT coupes are still pretty hot. They've come down a little, but a low mileage GT even with low options is still 30k+

I just paid a touch under 50K for a 2019 with under 2K miles, and according to my research it was a good deal. Crazy prices right now, but I love the car.

some people are just plain greedy.!
Here in Auckland we have K3368 for sale which was imported from Australia with hail damaged panels and seemingly repaired.
The mileage is 72,000 kms which is high for a 2019 car and the guy wants slightly over the NZ D retail price from 4 years ago for it.
Not surprisingly it has now failed to sell at 2 online auctions
Happy Days

around here Bullitt are 45k thru MSRP. But the industry auctions are steadily ratcheting down lower 2% per month or so. To think I missed a new 53K MSRP Bullit being sold for 43k in late 2019...

Wait till Nov/Dec or into next year as the floor-plan mafia start to take BIG bites out of dealer finances and everyone has to capitulate and eat their well-deserved LOSSes.

Don't be that proverbial Greater Fool.

aside: I was working Ourisman down to 10% off MSRP on a new leftover MY21 EB+HPP+HP they stupidly bought at MSRP from another dealer that had failed to move it for over a year at Invoice (to me, heh). We were down to 9% and then some chuck wagon from Herndon came in and offered MSRP. Naturally they were happy to make back their money.

I might disagree on that convertible comment, the state richfl and i live in is a hot bed for convertibles, being the sunshine state and all. i think geography has some to do with it too. the fact that richfl lives next to a very popular race track and that he put a blower on the car may be hurting the sales appeal of that particular car

Nobody should be buying anything right now.

I bought mine last year at $42k with 9k miles. Dealerships are offering me $50k, but the only way I'm trading is if they toss me a classic stang fastback haha.

Have not tried hard to sell it locally yet...but you're right...down here convertibles are much more common. Good thing about Florida, you can take advantage of the retractable top all year. Really no rush to sell...may put a sign on it at the next cars and coffee.

Few weeks ago I did a carvana offer thing. They offered me 2 grand more than sticker price. Keeping in mine they still have to sell the car.

I custom ordered my brand new 22 with no markups and Ford even gave me a 1k incentive to wait for the order. Every time I see people on here talk about buying a used mustang during these times Its hard for me not to laugh.

Either order a new one or wait. Keep driving your current car longer.

I've seen the opposite in the NJ area. Just checked online sites like Carvana and they're only offering around 29-30k.
