Replacement tires

I have a set of Shelby CS21 wheels on the way and am looking to get some tires. I would like to get something that might be a little better in rain.

The stock (2017) Pilots are on back order. I would like to know what good and quality performance oriented tire can be obtained in the size closest the stock tires.

Can you guys make some suggestions?

In the past I've seen folks recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. This is apparently the replacement for the Pilot Super Sports that come stock on pre-19 cars. The size is not exactly the same but people still run them on the stock wheels.
