Just removed my liner on my 18’ GT. Only thing I noticed is the outside of the hood gets sorta warm but it looks a lot better. For some reason my insulation held a lot of water (smells) and a lot of dirt

10Speedemon, your underhood doesn't have the Mustang, but it looks like it does have an "EB" molded in. Eco-boost hood, on a GT? Sorry, couldn't resist!!! : )

After reading this thread I decided to remove my liner... Looks a lot cleaner! no pony on '18s! Also I modify with my dremel,
the plastic cover under the 2 hood vents to make easier the hot air to exit. the hole in the hood is really small so anything helps.
ceramic coating under the hood is next.... Didn't have the chance to check IAT or engine temp due to the lock down! outside temps are in the 87-91F range....

I'm about to delete my hood insulation on a 2016 GT with a manifold swap 18 + and 18 JLT CAI.....Unless someone has developed a 20 degree coupler that actually fits properly. Don't these companies measure the diameter of TBs in the R & D room? Need a wider variety of coupling sizes produced.....Only one reason......CLEARANCE CLARENCE!!!!!!!......Could drop another $1500 on a 350R hood.......It's only paper.!!!!!!!:like:
