You can remove the vent and the back of the vent can be separated. You just lever it off.

You can take off the hard rubber backing part, but you can't split the clamshell (unless you break some heat or ultrasonic welds)

But it would give you enough room to shake it out

Anyone got any idea how to remove this from inside one of the hood vents? Looks like a piece of tissue or something. No idea how it could have even got in there. Have tried using tape, but can't get it to stick. Also tried placing a dab of superglue to a tiny screwdriver, but that did not work either.

I didn't read through this whole thread, so I don't know if you got it out- last time I had to do something like this, I took a large safety pin, straightened it and bent the sharp end into a tiny hook. Maybe you can hook it.
