I wish my car had heated seats and satellite radio. The car by itself is perfect.

I only wish Ford had either a Gold or Purple color added to the colors available. Absolutely no problems with my vert...rides tight with no rattles or squeaks...top fits and no leaks whatsoever...30MPG with ease...handles great with IRS on all-season tires...head turning vehicle that looks really expensive but isn't. I must have really been lucky.

You and me both. Next time though :)
Just remember that the grass isn't always greener on the other side  You could be on here saying the same thing after having the manual for a while.

That being said, This is my first auto performance car and I SO miss being able to rev it under bridges and in tunnels. I know I can put it in N but it's not the same. Wish someone could program it that if you hold in both paddles it would drop it into N.

Other than that, this auto is fantastic. Have a Circle D sitting under the Xmas tree now.

My regrets:
-Buying MBRP Street Cat Back instead of waiting and doing a full 3" header/catback combo. The sound is great but I hate that it necks down for factory connect

-Not getting the PP and selling the extras that I didn't want. I'm desperate for a premium bumper now.

-Not taking out the clutch spring sooner

That's about it! Great car! Wouldn't want anything else.

I've owned my car for 9 months now. Crazy how time flies. Still no regrets other than not getting memory seats! But I've adapted not having that feature. This car has been great so far! Just got my 1st oil change at 9300 miles. Full synthetic. Love the Coyote motor mated to my Borla S-type. Seeing the 2016 Camaro SS and Motor Trend raving about it almost made me regret. But no! I got the car I wanted. Then the GT350 came out! I was in love. But I'm hearing dealers are marking them up to $100K where I live! LMAO! I don't think so. My 355S550 is a great car.
Some things from the Camaro would be awesome to have -- the magnetic shocks; the dual-stage exhaust; the 8 speed automatic -- but in the end I could never live with that interior.

For like ten minutes I considered trading in my 2015 GT for a GT350 but then decided I could never live with a manual transmission and gave up on it.

Honestly I kinda think I should've looked at some 5g camaros. They were like 5-10k off sticker at many places. Bit it's all good that interior really put me off, even the 1lt/2lt/2ss plus it's not a mustang...

I'm 50/50 on whether I should have gone with the performance pack. I would have replaced the GTPP rims and tires with the set I have now anyway, and I don't really want the 3.73 gear ratio. However, everything else on the GTPP I now want. I want the gauges in the dash, I want the bigger front splitter, Torsen differential, etc.

Overall, I'm really happy though. It's the best Mustang I've ever owned, and I've owned almost 20, including a 2012 Boss 302. On that topic, the one thing I regret Ford doing for the S550 is not making the S550 Coyote become a roadrunner. I know it's close, as the new Coyote is only missing the upgraded piston rods and the Boss intake manifold, but still... the new GT should be a Roadrunner (including the 7500rpm redline).

1) Not getting a PP. But for the price I paid, I really shouldn't even be bringing this up.
2) Not learning about the '16 Camaro SS before I picked up my 5.0. I hope I don't need F/I to hang with those things, cause it'll be years till that happens. Hopefully some bolt-ons will do the trick..
3) Not looking into the current gen (used) SS Camaros, but then again, those interiors are ridiculously hideous.

Here are some more options i was hoping would be available.

-HUD
-Option for different wheels and wider tire option, say ala PP2. ;)
-power reclining with memory seat

besides that, i like my ride.

A tune will do the trick for straight line. For curves, you'll need great tires, plus a sway bar upgrade minimum.

A catback wouldn't hurt the sound.

Other than that, you should be good to go on running down 6g Camaros, and 5g Camaros can't even stay close.

Me? I wouldn't be caught dead in that Tokyo-at-night interior, wrapped in that hideous Transformer bodywork. No thank you.

Well do you regret it now that you have had your car for a while? I have been back and forth with the Nav option but with apple car play coming, i'm thinking its a waste of $800.00

I have a really good nav program on my Samsung Note 5 (latest and greatest), which I only use in rental cars. In my Mustang, I use the MFT Nav in preference to it because it's so much easier to see and hear. The voice programming works better and is more reliable, and it's simpler to get to. One button on the steering wheel, say "Destination," and I am off to the races.

I was not sure I would like or use Nav or any of the MFT stuff. I love Nav. The rest of MFT is OK, not super great but it works pretty well. Not junk, as the guys at Motor Trend would have you believe.

Do you find the nav screen to be too bright at night? I usually end up leaving my MFT screen on the home screen at night because every other one is distracting. And yes, I have tried turning the brightness down.....

Thanks,
