Hi all,

Going up to Minnesota to seal the deal on my GT350 in two weeks and I need a reputable company to help ship it back to Texas.

Does anyone have any recommendations on an enclosed transport service?

I’ve already gotten a few quotes.. most around 1100-1300. I’m fine with paying for a reliable company.

Thanks!

I shipped mine with Passport transport from MN to GA. They are quite reputable and the whole thing went flawless. Good luck!

Montway shipped mine from Texas in an enclosed trailer. Flawless and better priced than others I researched.

The only other thing I will add is that you generally want to use a carrier and not a broker. This is one criterion I used other than talking to folks and reading reviews and car forums when I made my selection. I preferred Intercity as well except that they would not ship at that point in time (in the middle of the winter) from MN to GA. I went with Passport and I will probably use them again based on experience.

I highly recommend http://www.motoshippers.com/ We've used them multiple times for cars and bikes. They use enclosed trailers, never had any issues and the owner is a true car guy.

I used intercity for my 17 R. It was from near WI to near philadelphia. It was a little more expensive than other quotes but I had never heard a bad thing about intercity. The delivery couldnt of been any better. I was originally quoted 10 days from when I would agree to their service. Ended up being 5. I will always go to Intercity lines

I assume that you are going to use an enclosed car carrier and not an open top carrier as the only way to go with these cars IMO?

Have used primarily 3 enclosed car carriers with Reliable out of Canton, Michigan and Exotic Car Transport out of the Orlando, Florida area and can say that they both have done great jobs transporting cars within the U.S. for me.

Cross border the only carrier that I will use is TFX based out of the Toronto, Ontario area.

Good luck!

There are many good companies and many not so good. I would first use Reliable then Intercity then Plycar. All three are good but I personally use them in that order. These are all closed trailers. (edit: I'll leave this info here for others since the op no longer needs a carrier).

Resurrecting the thread. Looking for MN -> OR. I have used Intercity before (and they were great though very expensive). But I have a slightly different question. What are the risks of open transport this time a year? I'm sure the car will arrive dirtier than heck, but how much of a damage risk is there (and I presume that probably depends on where it is loaded on the truck, and how many areas used sand/gravel on roadways.

Intercity moved my GT500 and I was totally impressed. I would highly recommend them.
