Removing the rear seat delete has raised the audible sound of the exhaust but in a good way. It's about the difference from resonator to non resonators. That being said I will be making fiberglass copy of the OEM R delete panel that will fit the CMS bar as it's going to get a little loud for...
I went back and forth between Watson and CMS. Choose CMS based on there design, color options and install.
Mine has there previous harness loops (more of a round bar style) compared to there new style as shown below in gray.
I will be installing another CMS bar in a buddies 350 this summer...
Nothing to worry about. We picked up our GT350R in December, 28 degrees. Even with the cup 2's it's very doable.
We've been caught in the snow with the cup 2's as well. The built in nannies are pretty good and can get you most places as long as you are aware of the changing conditions.
By not reporting the incident to to the service manager and the managers above him your contributing to the problem. No actions just pave the way to do the same for the next car.
I have the carbons stashed aside and currently run Signiture's SV502 for street and track with a set of TI lugs. Close to the carbon's weight with increased clearance, punished on the track with zero issues. I'll be getting another set of Signature's 7-Spoke that will be used for street and...
I also tow around a 14k toy hauler for the 2 wheel track days so my daily driver/tow hauler is a 18 Silverado 3500 crew cab, long bed LTZ Z71 diesel. Get's the job done nicely and very comfortable for daily duties and tows this 40' toy hauler fully loaded without breaking a sweat.
OEM 350R lugs are steel and heavy. I replaced mine with titanium lugs from ZL1 addons. Terrance (Signiture Wheel) also sells titanium, black and a couple others.
I consider lugs as part of the rotating weight. Lighter the better.
Disappointed in the exterior. Other than the hideous front end it looks as a standard GT with brakes and wing. I hope their weight estimates are wrong as at that point your close to the Hellcat redeye which at least looks decent.
Glad to help. On the standard GT3350's and GT's there is a stud and a bolt into a threaded hole as shown in this image. Nothing on the backside needed. The strength of this area seams very strong.
They go through the hardened steel channel. You drill the 4 front and 4 rear holes then the supplied bolts mate the bar to the support channel. If you zoom into the picture you can see the rear 4 bolts.
