  1. Illinois 2017 GT350 chassis H2187 - 1,926 miles

Congrats! Yes, they bought it from me when I purchased a GT4 from them. Great place to work with. Let me know if you need any other info about the car. It sounds like it will continue to be treated well!
  2. Anyone trade their GT350R for a Cayman GT4?

This man solved this complex problem! :like: Seriously, they are different enough, both would be great to have in the garage.
  3. Anyone trade their GT350R for a Cayman GT4?

BierGut -You are 100% correct. These two cars are in completely different price categories. The reality is that you can purchase two GT350 for the price of a GT4 with popular options that most people add to a GT4. It is not a fair comparison. The fact people like the OP and me are comparing the...
  4. Anyone trade their GT350R for a Cayman GT4?

I think I have a unique perspective on this because I just sold my 2017 GT350 for a 2021 GT4. I purchased my GT350 new in late 2016. I never tracked it but I loved the car and I'm lucky enough to have twisty back roads around me. I'll miss the GT350 sound for sure. I have a lot of HDPE track...
  5. Illinois 2017 GT350 chassis H2187 - 1,926 miles

Thanks everyone. Car is sold. It was picked up tonight.
  6. Illinois 2017 GT350 chassis H2187 - 1,926 miles

Looks like I have a buyer. I'll update when sold.
  7. Voodoo Swap In My 63.5 Falcon, almost done

I'm speechless. This is so completely over the top amazing.
  8. Illinois 2017 GT350 chassis H2187 - 1,926 miles

2017 GT350 Chassis H2187 - 1926 miles It is finally time to part with my 2017 GT350. I purchased this car new from the Ford dealer and I'm an over the top completely meticulous car guy. The car does not have so much as a swirl mark on it. It has never been tracked, never driven in the rain...
  9. Are offers to buy your car from Vroom legitimate?

Vroom is totally legit. They are a publicly traded company listed on the Nasdaq (ticker VRM). My neighbor just sold a car to them and my brother sold a car to them. No issues with either transaction. The market for cars is supply and demand driven. There is currently no supply due to the chip...
  10. Thoughts on the 2023 Z06?

I have no idea what this will cost but I have to admit, I love it. That thing looks amazing, sounds amazing, and likely drives amazing. I don't love the rear end of the regular C8 at all but I really like the rear of this Z06 C8. The wider fenders really make a difference.
  11. Most Historically Significant 2nd Generation Shelby GT350/R?

Thanks for the pics, the history, and the specifics. I don't have anything to add other a Thank you! Great post.
  12. Shifteck is absolute JUNK!!

Virtually everything is in short supply now and prices on everything are going up like crazy. It is possible they had no ETA for the parts they ordered because the distributer they purchased from had not ETA for their raw materials. If anyone in the supply chain needs something from overseas...
  13. Help a new driver! Spirited driving, traction control & sliding for a noob driver

I'll throw in my 2 cents. The best education I received was regularly attending HDPE events. I did it with the local Audi club (you can have any car brand) for many years. You generally get a 1/2 day of education and exercises in the car followed by 1.5 days of lapping on the track in various...
  14. Buying Advice on a low mileage 2017 GT350

I'm going to sell mine but I've not put an ad together yet. Car is in perfect condition. 2017, 1600 miles. Xpel ultimate on the entire front of the car from the windshield forward and in front of the rear wheels. Modesta Ceramic coating. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.
  15. Buying Advice on a low mileage 2017 GT350

Looks like it sold. It is no longer on the site. I would not worry about low mileage. I have 1600 miles on my 2017 and it has never seen the track. I just have a bunch of cars so I don't get to drive all of them often.
  16. Where is everyone going???

I purchased my 2017 GT350 in late Sept or early October 2016. I'm a car nut and thought I'd keep this car forever. I put Xpel ultimate PPF from the windshield forward and in front of the rear wheels. I had my detailer add a Modesta ceramic coating. I changed the oil yearly (which is about 400...
  17. Is there a "best" Year GT350 to Buy?

Clearly 2017, red with black stripes. lol. Like someone said, they are all great and every owner thinks their year is best. I may be selling if you are looking.
  18. Has anyone leased their GT350?

You will never want to lease a prior model year of anything. The residual will be too low and you would pay more per month vs a 2021 model. Even if you can lease, you only want to lease the latest model year. Ever once in a while a manufacturer's leasing arm may subsidize the old models and make...
  19. GT 350 R LONG TERM VALUE

Fun and enjoyment is exactly right. Is this car an investment? No. Will it depreciate at a slower rate vs a normal car? Yes. There are thousands of these. The R is not a rare car. Look at the original 68-69 GT350. Ford took over production in 68 and built around 800 in 1968 and around 1,000 in...
  20. Strange request from the Ford dealership

I nominate this as the best thread of the day. Thanks for the laughs.
