Recall 25V689

Recall 25V689 Low brake fluid warning inoperative Mustang 21-23. Anyone else get this? I didn’t get it from Ford yet but got notified from my NHTSA app.

To me it reads like a recall of the old recall fix.

Summary
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Mustang vehicles repaired incorrectly under recall number 23V727. The brake fluid level sensor may not activate the visual warning indicator when the brake fluid is low. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems."
Remedy
Dealers will update the body control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 17, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25C55. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning November 17, 2025.

"According to Ford’s records, certain 2021 to 2023 MY Mustang vehicles did not have the remedy for Safety Recall 23C35 / 23V-727 installed correctly, but was recorded as having the repair successfully completed. Because the correct software update remedy may not be installed on the vehicle, the underlying condition specified in Safety Recall 23C35 / 23V-727 may still exist..."
