Yesterday Ford announced up to 188,000 Mustangs may be impacted by a brake fluid sensor warning light not working. From the Ford site it looks like they are working on the problem as it is software related. A solution is targeted for December. Article here...
Ford recall: Brake fluid safety issue in 200,000 new-model Mustangs (usatoday.com)

Nothing to spaz over, just to be aware.

Thanks for the info. I obviously missed this one. I’ll keep checking the website to see if anything pops up. You would think the letter would say brake fluid safety issue. It doesn’t say a thing.

There’s a thread in the GT500 section about it. The info on the fix is out now

I’m wondering if anybody has got the service done. Why wouldn’t the NHTSA have my VIN listed as one of the cars then. I’m a little confused on it so I’m just gonna sit tight. The car only has 1300 miles on it in a year and I’m not gonna worry about it right now.
I think it just got released over the weekend. I haven’t checked my VIN yet but I’m assuming I’ll have to get it done at some point. I’m going to be due for an oil change in January or February so I’ll just have it done then most likely

Based on mileage driven I’m probably not gonna have another oil change done until next May on the M1. I am about to get an oil change on the GT so when I’m in there I think I’ll pass my VIN on to them and see what they know.

Seriously... I'm going annually at this point, not even looking at miles.
