Hmm....interesting......I'm going to lower 2 cars today, so I'll see if I notice anything that could be attributing to this kind of noise. My OEM springs have no rubber isolaters on them. No noise.

Critical piece of information that was missing.a couple months ago I was rear ended and they needed to replace the rear valence, bumpstop and repaint the bumper and this noise didn't start until after that.
No, no rubber insulator. My only reason for thinking it's the bumper is because if I pop the trunk and bounce the car up and down or push it forward and backward, I'm unable to recreate the sound. However I tried pushing down around the bumper and the rear right side does make a creaking noise that gets louder the harder I press. My thought is that maybe something behind the bumper affixing it is not in properly as a couple months ago I was rear ended and they needed to replace the rear valence, bumpstop and repaint the bumper and this noise didn't start until after that.

My bad, i didn't even think to link the two as it was just a small crack in the bumper and i didn't notice the creaking bumper until trying to replicate the sound the other night.Critical piece of information that was missing.
Thanks! I did use the oem spring insulators with the new springs. Like in the cj pony parts install video.Hmm....interesting......I'm going to lower 2 cars today, so I'll see if I notice anything that could be attributing to this kind of noise.
I didn't immediately link the two however i am going to try greasing the sway bar bushings first as that is going to be much simpler than removing the rear bumper.Checking it with this history could prove beneficial. Crazier things have happened I guess. It just "seemed" like it was a mechanical issue by watching the video. Strange nonetheless.
those are on the oem springs? i didn't see anything like that on my oem springs, but than again i didn't have the ppThat's not coming from the bumper. It sounds like metal on metal when put in a "bind". Not a bind in a bad way necessarily, just force or pressure applied to the noisy area.
Did you put the rubber insulator that wraps around the springs from the OEM springs on the new springs where they make contact with the perches???

^^^^You see those black rubber things wrapped around the springs? These are to be removed off the OEM springs and placed on your new springs, especially around the bottom rung where it sits in the perch.
Correct. Not on mine. They are not on the gt pp springs.
I had similar noise, re torqued the suspension and re-lubricated the pivot bushings on the front and rear sway bar. Noise is gone!Well after trolling the forum for sometime I finally had to join for this post. I have the exact same issue and noise that you showed in the video. I installed Steeda IRS bushings, vertical links, toe links, sway bars, aluminum sway bar bushings, subframe braces and proline springs at about 300 miles. Have had absolutely no issues, now at 1500 miles have the same creak. So please keep us updated.
what did you use for lubrication? Did you use specific torque settings for each of the bolts? In the CJ video they didn't specify how tight to tighten the bolts since it wasn't available at the time.I had similar noise, re torqued the suspension and re-lubricated the pivot bushings on the front and rear sway bar. Noise is gone!
I did torque the 4 small bolts to 41 ft/lbs and I attempted to torque the 4 main bolts to 129 ft/lbs but couldn't for the life of me get it that tight with my torque wrenchDid you torque the cradle to spec after adding the BMR kit? I wonder if your cradle isn't shifting ever so slightly when stopping and starting. This would cause lots of areas to move which would explain such a loud noise.
