Congrats on first thread. I just checked mine yesterday when I changed the front and bled the brakes all around. My rears have 11,400mi and the rear pads look brand new. This car is heavily front brake biased.

Cracked fronts in half on the first track day when I ran stock all around. Threw the XP-10's on and killed the rears to bare metal in 3 sessions. But I am hard on brakes.

Sounds odd. Rears only does about 20-30% of the braking. Set of pads should last 4-10 HPDE days. I have run two sets (Hawk HP+ and HPS) and they both lasted all season around 8 HPDE days.

Of course, wear is highly dependent on number of factors like track, driving style etc but burning thru rears sounds quite unusual.

.....unless the traction control/advance trac is on. Not saying it was, just that it will eat rear pads in a hurry.

It only happened after switching to the XP-10's. Before that, wear was even. Traction control was full off. Got some XP-10's and 8's coming when they make them.

For anyone looking for OEM rear GT PP Pads the part number is FR3Z-2200-C. They ran a little over $80 for the set of 4 pads.

Make sure you have a caliper tool before doing the install or you'll have a bad time. I learned this the hard way on my 2013.
