I tried searching a thread that doesn't go off on tangents, but here I go...

I want Brembos on the rear of my GTPP. I think they look awesome and I don't care if it doesn't add that much brake performance.
How do I install these myself.

I know I would need a larger rotor to match the caliper.
Am I good with simply a larger rotor, steel braided lines and the GT350 rear brembos?

I know there are kits for GT350R's but they are way to expensive. Does the knuckle really need to be replaced? It seems I just need a larger rotor.

Thanks!

Larger diameter rotors move the calipers outward, and the calipers themselves might bolt up in an entirely different manner. You've got more research to do here.

Do not install just the rears, unless you only drive like Ms Daisy.

Dam I completely missed that part. So the knuckle is needed. I hate seeing the rear brakes, they look weak next to a dodge or Chevy.

Don't worry about what they look like as long as they work well.

What you can't see inside the calipers - piston bore size - is at least as important as anything you can see.

You will need the rear knuckles in order to mount the emergency brake assemblies that sit inside the rear rotor hats.

You're upgrading for all the wrong reasons...just save your money.
Also, Chevy is understandable, but why Dodge? It doesn't make any sense to compare your car to a boat.

The rears look weak! Looks like my mustang skipped leg day. I’m on Forgestar F14s so you can see cheap in between each spoke.

Don't worry so much about what they look like to you. Focus on how well they work. Making the rear brakes more muscle-bound invites rear lockup and directional instability . . . or at least way more ABS intervention than you should be getting.

You don't need to build killer legs for doing pushups and flyes, where the arms (front brakes) are doing the vast majority of the work.

If you want to get rid of the cheap look, may I suggest removing the rear calipers all together?

I had posted this a while back, it has some good info in it - not sure if it’s what you’re seeking but may help.
