Because the original emblem was fixed to the panel itself. You either buy the whole panel or nothing.
But, when the actual emblem has the part number you would think you get could get just that. I mean i understand that usually the black panel is not in show condition and getting a new panel isnt a bad idea but paying 400 plus bucks for that sounds like a horrible idea!
I found the rear on EBAY for 70 bucks. If you still want to change keep am eye out thereYeah, I had the same thought, because you can get just the emblem for the front. Seems only logical you could for the rear too.
My previous owner had painted the emblem red. I just wanted new clean ones. But I am stuck with the red, that I fixed pretty well. Just didn't want to pretend to be an R.
So what is the part #? Mine came loose/broke last year. My detail shop affixed it with some 3M double sided tape meant for attaching emblems. But I'd like to find an extra in case it falls off again and I don't notice it.Why is the emblem for the rear decklid so hard to come by? I have been searching for two days for one..
Found the part number here and finally found one on ebay.
Dang...
I have actually been searching for a 350R decklid because it has the 3 predrilled holes for use with the Verus wing, and I don't really want to drill holes in my decklid. I'd just wrap it black. Can also search for a wrecked 350 and get the whole taillight panel. Copart, Midway Mustang, etc.
Looks good. I looked for others, but right now none available. Here she is!! Got the emblem in the mail and couldn't wait to put it on!!
