Rear Deck Speakers

Mine are like yours. Data shows they are 4 ohm. That pic of the red car must be a lesser system.

Reading the attached thread link on the rear speakers is what lead me to believe that they are 2 ohm.

Hi All, When I started my audio upgrade, I first replaced the rear speakers on my 2018 9 speaker system with the coaxial units from the 12 speaker system. The Ohm rating for the rear coaxial factory speakers from the 12 speaker system is 2 ohms.

They are INDEED 2 ohm speakers but they ohm out at 2.8. I checked both of my OEM B&O rear speakers. But here’s the caveat. They are coaxials with the tweeter wired in parallel so each of them is 4 ohms.

I used the youtube video that shows how to clip and trim these rings and screw the aftermarket speakers onto the rings so that they bolt right in and solder jumpers so that the factory connector works.
