The reason for the 2015 style headlights is the composite radiator support that was designed for the GT350 when it first released. They use that same radiator support on the GT500, thats why the headlights are what they are. 2018+ headlights do not fit that radiator support.

That is the correct answer.

Exactly, the front radiator from the front looks like the cobra's back when it flattens when posturing and before an attack.

The plexiglass cover is a tinted cover from american muscle. The eye is a decal. My "eyeballs" get a lot of attention at car shows.

Good question Earl, although I avoid night-time driving myself. Too many bugs and critters down here but those decals have to affect the headlight beams.

From the video I saw your vision is pretty much hampered if your looking to drive with them on, except with the pic above it seems it blocking the tri-bars, which is a no-go for me.

The plexiglass comes off, they form fit the headlight and have a piece of velcro under the hood to secure. At night, I just remove them.
