Have to disagree.

There is no limit to how much clothing you can put on to get warmer. But you can still be too hot with no clothing at all and even that is frowned upon in polite society.

I think it's already been done. Mr. Magoo had one just like that.
One advantage is that if your eyesight is really bad, then no one will ever steal your car. The thief won't see anything out of it.
