When a 30+ YO under-slab pipe sprung a leak and the cost to fix that plus the cost to fix the next and the next was more than replumbing the whole house with PEX I wanted the plumber to use blue PEX for hot and red PEX for cold because blue stars are hotter than red stars. He eventually won the argument when my wife cast the tie breaking vote. Next time I'll marry an astronomer.
