So I've had my ecoboost for about 4 months now still very happy with it. I've done some calculations, so far I've added about $5200 of aftermarket tint, springs etc etc. i plan on getting a turbo kit from either MAPerformance or fftec which is gonna add another 5k. My ecoboost premium fully loaded otd was around 34k +5k and another 5k for the turbo. At this point I'm gonna reach 44k for my 34k. I should have gotten the GT PP and the Horse power would be about the name just insurance would be a little less

dang, you made a mistake...

live, learn and move on.

Others of us love the weight balance, and even without said turbo kit, will kill a GT at the track (not the straight one, but the one with skills involved).

I see one flaw in your logic. If you have already spent $5,200 on "springs, tint, etc" wouldn't you have spent that same money on a GT. Those items are not exclusive to the EB.

With the added turbo bye bye fuel efficiency, not that I wanna sell my ecoboost but the resell value will suck, because it's an ecoboost class not a coyote

First thing I thought of...

And if it wasn't the Ecoboost you'd probably be buying headers and stuff for the GT.

And right now a set of Long tubes for the GT looks to be close to $2k for a good set, not counting another $1k for a catback, $300 for a good CAI, and about $500 or so for a tune. Right there you're almost at $4k.

Also, can you please detail what you actually spent $5k on?

Okay, it looks like you spent close to $2k on actual performance mods, not counting installation. Everything else is just appearance and has nothing to do with the actual performance of the car.

If you add on the turbo kit from MAP then you'll be at $5k in performance mods. All you have thats actual performance is the Catback, CAI, Springs and the tuner. everything else is just unnecessary stuff.

I won't argue with you, but the two things you list you would have bought for the GT anyway. (Springs and tint) I mean I'm sure no matter what you would have bought, you'd want to add to it and spend money beyond what you paid at the dealership. I could be wrong, but I don't see someone who puts $5,200 into aftermarket parts being satisfied with the stock $44,000 GT either.

The way that I see it, the difference in price between the EB and GT (both with same trim level) is $7k. So, even with the $2K you've spent and $5k for the turbo kit, you're coming out about even for what would likely be pretty similar performance.
