Not yet, but very soon. Waiting on a customer to send final logs then he will be getting on the dyno.

Question from California resident. Can any of these big turbos be used without having to go the downpipe route? Illegal to have any aftermarket downpipe in Cali, catless or cat. I believe I heard that the Vargas 2 required no additional bolt ons. True?
Thanks.

You can run the stock downpipe with the Vargas upgrade but you are going to severely limit the performance of the turbo with a factory downpipe.

I have thought about added an an adapter from the GTX2867R kit to go from turbo to factory cat.

Thanks for the info Adam. Severely limit does not sound good. I would still see a substantial performance benefit compared to the stock turbo, right?

I like your idea for the GTX2867R kit. I would be very interested as well as a lot of Cali residents!

is there some turbo kit that could give me at least 180 lbft at 1500, 250lbft at 2000 and go to 320+ at 2500. A don't need max torque above 400 lbft
hp range is 400 hp, engine internals stock.

Yeah, the stock one.
I laughed. Thought the same thing but seeing someone else say it is much better.

Seriously stock is your best 2500 rpm starter. Next contender is the 7163 but lately the Vargas twin scroll has shown to have even better response. Beyond that, your gonna have lag. It's all compromise one way or the other.
