I don't know how long you could wait to ship it or how close you are to VA, but multitudes of people around here use Turbo Lab in Stuart, VA. They do amazing work and have great pricing for the high level of quality they provide.
How bad is it messed up? If it's just the compressor wheel and you can verify the shaft isn't bent a new compressor wheel is an easy swap. Now as far as parts availability that's not something I can comment on. Don't know.
Another parts supplier (always good to have more than 1) that I've had good dealings with in the past is Turbo Exchange in Concord NC. http://www.tepturbos.com/
Good luck.
And to answer your question. A Garret GT series water cooled ballbearing turbo will cost at least 2.5K+ when you add in the manifold adapter, wastegate and downpipe. If you want a BW EFR series turbo add another $500+ to that. These are of course before adding a tune/tuner and any thing else like a CAI and Intercooler. These are only my projections.
