Questions for those with a 93 octane tune

Hey everyone. I was hoping to get some input here about a 93 tune. I'm on the stock tune and have basic bolt on's (catback, cf ds, intake, and minor weight reduction) I also have a ported IM and TB to put on also.
I've been debating getting a tune, and while I dont have any close by E85, there is many places I can get 93 octane.
I was curious, for those who have gotten a 93 tune, were you happy with it? Did you have any before / after dynos' or track times? Did it give the car some more "down low" go?
Who is ideally the best tuner for a 93 tune?
Would I loose anything by going with a flex tune in case I do run some E85 at some point?

I don’t have e85 within around 200 miles of me, so the pump gas tune from Lund was my go to. Zero complaints. I’m stock besides exhaust. No track or dyno numbers, but it’s a noticeable improvement. Down low it starts pulling good just below 2k.

I dont have any times or dyno numbers to reference; but I love my 93 tune.

It's nothing special; just a Bama tune using a rev-x I got from American muscle... I've heard some of the other tunes are better, but it surpassed my expectations.

It seems to add a bit of savagery to the car.

No e85 by me either.

I run the Diablo 93 tune and saw .3 and 3mph at the track, same day, only change being the tune. I’ve since been even quicker, 11.78 @ 119.5 tune only.

I have LTH, X-pipe, CAI and just switched from e85 to 93 Lund racing tune. I can't say it has much better low-end power but just for street driving feels a little less jerky and the fuel consumption is noticeably slower than e85.

I just notice that it might shift a little different. I bought the car a while ago and didn't like the e85 shifting patterns. Also not much e85 around here.

There is a significant power difference between 93/91 and e. In a NA application could be anywhere from 25-50whp difference depending on tune etc.

Agreed. Once you run e85, switching back to 93 make the mustang feel very underwhelming.

I agree. E85R PBD tune here. I also have a 93 tune and a Flex Fuel tune from them. I was super impressed with the 93 tune. However, switching from 93 tune to the E85 tune was more noticeable than from stock to 93 tune. (They can advance the timing significantly more with E85) The down low torque has been the biggest improvement. Overall, my butt dyno suggest at least 35hp over stock with E85.

I agree. 93 tunes are significantly more tame for normal driving. My E85R tune feels like I have a pedal commander on steroids. My Wife hates it. It's extremely hard to drive smoothly on E. However, the difference in power has kept me driving on E. Yes, the MPG is less. But, with gas prices being extremely expensive no matter what, It hasn't really bothered me.

E85 doesn't want to cruise it wants to run. Smooth as butter as long as you smash the gas!
