Yeah I believe you’re right. I read the whole thread yesterday so I might have mixed up some of the combo feedback he gave. I thought it was the handling springs he liked more with the FRPP dampers but I do remember his feedback on the BMR performance springs (sp80/sp763) to be glowing.

I’m going to try out the Eibach bump stops in the rear with my Koni Active/SP763 to fix the rubber bouncing noise/clunking but if it’s not sorted I’m getting a set of FRPP shocks or Bilsteins for the rear and will put the Koni’s up for sale for someone who’s running a different spring/stock height.

A well tuned monotube damper is hard to beat. Not very surprising that the recent feedback on the Bilstein B6s are so highly rated as well.

Also, I believe @MustangCollector, who had a long, long suspension thread detailing many combinations he used - he tried the SP080s with the FP dampers and loved them. Someone please correct me if I am mistaken. The SP080s are the same rates as the SP763, only a larger drop in the front. So stands to reason the SP763s would ride even better with them given the extra suspension travel. If there are any bad reviews on the FP dampers I haven't seen them.

If you are dead set on the SP763 spring set, I'll think it'll work out very well for you. However, if increasing handling is your goal, you might want to step up to some stiffer springs like the GT350R or SP083.
Increasing handling and confidence at high speed is my goal, however streets are so rough here that ground clearance needs to stay in the equation. Also, I need it to be a comfy ride for when I go out with wife and/or when I'm stuck in traffic.
This is why I had my eyes on the sp763 paired with frpp tracks. Seems like a good balance of both worlds...

Yeah, I think that's a good plan. I commend you for trying to evaluate your setup from a logical standpoint. You should find the solution soon enough.

I think you're on the right track. I don't think you'll regret that combination. I really don't. Quite a few ppl on here who have tried that combination and have been happy with the looks, ride and handling.

The good thing about the FP dampers is they glue the car to the road without being crashy or overly harshed. It does it in a way that I might describe is "silky". They will have increased responsiveness which will make reactions quicker at low speeds, but it does so in a controlled manner. It won't be jacked down/overdamped such that you'll be bouncing. Bad roads are bad roads, and you do pay a price for increased handling. But IMO what many people seek but don't know it is - controlled. The Mustang isn't going to be "all world" in ride quality anyhow. What you're looking for is a damper that will offer superior control. In a lot of ways the stock setup is not very controlled. I would describe it as clumsy, even though you have more suspension travel and softer damping.

With 1000 miles on my 19 base struts/shocks (2015-17 PP1 rates) I’m gonna give the 763 kit a shot with the Eibach bump stops

Hope it works out, I’m not looking for handling more so then a compliant ride and a slight drop

You dont think its worth doing dampers as well while you're at it?

My 19 base struts and shocks r really 15-17 PP1 valved (improved) so for me with only 1000 miles on my car I kinda thinks it’s stupid to pull them.

Even Megladon agreed with me
He said run my base 19 struts and shocks with the 763’s and Eibach bump stops, I should be ok

I think they should have made the Ford Performance dampers the base PP trim. I feel like that would give amazing control as well good ride.

It is kinda stupid although the ford engineers say it’s ok to run the Ford lowering springs with base 19GT dampers?

You have the base GT dampers and not the PP ones correct?

I only got 3k miles and also think its stupid to change them so early but I feel they are lacking at high speed especially in the "wavy" roads we got here.

It’s is a crap shoot, what a few have told me are the Bilsteins with the 763’s are suppose to be awesome but to just dump 1000 mile struts and shocks?

Hard pill to swallow dollar wise, I dont’t road race or take turns. I like to go straight and do it quickly so I’m curious if the stockers with the 763’s will be okay

I plan on doing a Lund tuned Edelbrock very soon

Correct, but the 19GT’s are equivalent to 15-17 PP1 cars from what research I did with part numbers and snooping
You should be fine. But, ask yourself will you upgrade eventually anyway?

If you're going to supercharge it I highly recommended upgrading the suspension.
