Hey! So I just really want to get a good idea of how close i’ll be to rubbing...

I get mixed answers, generally good.

New setup will be:
285/35/20 +35
315/35/20 +50
Lowered on Eibach Pro Kit (1 inch drop).

There’s a few guys Ive asked running the same offset and same size tires/rims and are running more aggressive springs - eibach sportlines (1.5-2 inch drop) without rubbing apparently.

Anyone running similar setup to mine and have good clearance?

Thanks!

Plz let me know when you find out. I have coilovers I'm getting put on tomorrow and I want a decently drop but I am 20x10 +35 all the way around wrapped on 285/35/20. Worried about the front that's all.

I put your data into tire-size-calculator.info. I assumed you have a base GT with 255/40R19 ET 45 OEM and that your new wheels are 20 x 10 up front.

Compared to the 255, your setup is 0.41" greater in radius and sits deeper into the wheel well by 0.11". You could do measurements to see if things will rub.

Hope it helps

I'm on that exact setup (Ford Performance springs, but still the same 1" drop). Zero rubbing issues.

Front will be absolutely fine. Rear set up will be extremely tight and may rub very slightly depending on which tire you run and your camber. I’m running a 1” drop with 20x11 +50 wheels and 315/35/20’s with factory stock camber settings. I get a very slight rub every once in a while over certain dips in the road.

That just reminds me of a fat lady trying to fit in too skinny jeans.

To each their own.

So you’re 285/35/20 +35 and 315/35/20 +50?

Your set up looks fucking amazing by the way.

The spacing between tire and fender might come down to your drop springs. I went back and looked at pics I took after getting my springs installed and I definitely had more of a gap then. Looks like my springs settled quite a bit since then.

Just a question. Is it possible that those who have a large tire and dropped springs reported that it worked when the springs were new and , once broken in, they really are not a perfect fit or they only use the car as a display or show car? Has anyone found where someone did a drop and had it not work without any rubbing? Maybe they just live with the rubbing.

Good luck either way.

Keep us posted long term.
