I was looking around at 2 piece rotors and they have gone through the roof in price.

While at baer.com I found that the 15" front brake kits for the Mustang GT PP1 and the GM 2010-2019 front brake kits had the same part numbers.

Is there any chance some models and years Camaros and Cadillac CVS-T's use the same rotors and pads?

Ebay has several new OEM GM 2 piece rotors that look like they might fit. Obviously, it would take more than looks to know. But I think there's a chance something from GM may work at half the price.

I think the GM bolt pattern is 5x120

I think you're right. 5x114.3 for Ford. Dang. 2 piece rotors for GM easier to find on ebay and cheaper.

If the rotors are 2 piece, the center hat may have a dual pattern, a 4-3/4" or 120mm for GM and a 4-1/2" or 113.4mm for ford/mopar

Mopar uses 115mm of late. Ford 114.3, GM 120. Drill the GM hats with a 19mm drill tangent to the outer edge of the existing hole and you'll have rotors that fit Mustang too. You'll want to use an endmill though since a drill bit will walk. Or just slot the holes inward, Should be plenty of meat on the carrier ring.

I have no idea what the offset is on the hat/rotor between Camaro and Mustang and thats even more important a consideration.

Then there is a the small issue of Camaro wheel hub is 67mm and Mustang 70.5. You'd have to bore the Camaro ring.

I suggest you look harder for dimes in the sofa cushions.

May I ask why you want 2 pieces rotors?
The only benefit of 2 pieces is if you are racing or open tracking in an advanced group and using slicks or R compound

GM stuff is not going to work without major modifications.

OEM GT350 stuff is easy and cheap to do on a GT if you really want a 2 piece design.

most of the 2 piece rotors I’ve seen are about 10 lbs lighter per piece. I wouldn’t mind losing 40lns of unstrung weight.

Sure, less weight is always a good thing but a roughly 1% weight loss is not going to be felt on the street
It’s only when you are pushing the car very hard and close to it’s limit that those types of improvements make sense
There nothing wrong to want 2 pieces for the visual effect but let’s not pretend that it is anything else

rotating mass of unsprung weight have a much bigger impact on performance than static weight. That 40 lbs is like removing 3-400 lbs of static weight.

I was beginning to wonder how the weight of unused newsprint and guitars without strings was germane to forces imparted by rotating assemblies.

I doubt 40 lbs at the rotors amounts to as much as 80 lbs static.

10:1 is for flywheels and balancers.
