It's not an Auto thing, it's just a 2015 non-PP thing, period.

It's the display between the RPM gauge and MPH gauge. The one that also shows average fuel, tire pressure, voltage, etc.I thought only PP cars had the center gauges? What other variants have it?
Wheels aside, how the heck can you identify a PP car at a glance? Dang, thought I had it figured out
Sorry, mean Auto Non-PP, but nice to knowIt's not an Auto thing, it's just a 2015 non-PP thing, period.
Does the manual non-PP omit it? I figured it would be in there.Sorry, mean Auto Non-PP, but nice to know
2015 manual base GT has the boost/vac gage.Does the manual non-PP omit it? I figured it would be in there.
Did the 50th Aniv. package come with center gauges? It was basically the PP with an automatic transmission.
No one is questioning engine dynamics, or its ability to create boost. The question is why the 2015 Mustang GT has a boost/vacuum? We like to think that Ford adding a factory digital boost gauge is their way of saying "We gave you the platform, go forth and make it fast". Unfortunately, I think it is the fact that the 2015 was the first year of the new platform. It is easier to make one universal cluster for the premium cars GT and Ecoboost alike. The only model that should come with a boost gauge is the EcoBoost as it`s the only Forced Induction engine.
Naturally Aspirated engines can`t create Boost (or intake pressure) therefore only have a Vacuum gauge.
This is basic stuff, folks! C`mon.....
I bought my car new. It has the boost/vacuum gauge. I bet you have a late build date car. That would explain the difference.Weird. Y'all bought those cars new? Because I know some people swap out the gauges on their GTPP to the EB cluster when they go FI.
My 2015 GTPP Premium has only vacuum, no boost.
I know man... I like to build the topic up then drop knowledge like a boss! LOL.Damn 3 days later Dntalman![]()

It may be a auto thing.. Mine is accurate with what VMP claims my car should make with the pulley I run.It may be an auto thing. Not sure. Thus far that's what it seems to be. Not entirely sure it's accurate with aftermarket boost.
