Question About OEM Premium Gauge Cluster

Gotcha. You just said, "he has Boost/Vacuum on his factory gauges in the center" which is very ambiguous.

His car actually displays Vacuum/Boost in the center " Track Apps Gauges " I guess you could say, mine shows only Vacuum.

Think this might be a tune thing? If you bought your car used, the PP GT comes with gauges and a few guys have swapped them for ecoboost gauges from EB PP to display boost. It's a direct swap for the gauges.

This can be done through modifying as built data. Through tinkering, I put random ADB hex data for some premium cars on my V6 MTX and got the vacuum/boost gauge. I've also had line lock show up. But when I used those hex values, my miles to empty were stuck at 999. So it wasn't ideal.

You're thinking of the wrong gauges. We are talking about the one directly between your RPM and MPH display. The one that displays average fuel, tire pressure, etc. I don't think anyone is doing that swap lol.

Ah, got it. I don't have a tune on my car (Yet ) and I still have it.

Since it looks like some people with 2016s have it, the only other thing that seems to match up is that everyone who has posted that they have it appears to have an automatic.

It may be an auto thing. Not sure. Thus far that's what it seems to be. Not entirely sure it's accurate with aftermarket boost.

The GTPP does not have that option on the LCD display. Only the non-PP GT does.

Maybe it's part of the 20" rim package along with the underhood k brace and PP oil filter Door. Maybe they threw this in as an Easter egg.:shrug:

Mine is a Non-PP Premium car. 2016, and does not have it. Maybe it was a Non-PP, 2015 GT Auto feature. Lol.

I just mean the Vacuum option for the LCD gauge. Same with Oil Pressure. Since those are both provided as analog gauges.
