Digital Vacuum/Boost Gauge Question

I'm new to the forum, but I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I have a 21 5.0 and used forscan to enable in dash boost gauge (401A). Well it worked and didn't at the same time. Gauge shows boost/vacuum but it will not read positive pressures. Does anyone know what parameters the digital boost gauge uses to do the math? I've found the problem here but no answers.

Yes sir. running about 14lbs right now on VMP Odin.

Total speculation here - I successfully changed my digital dash to show boost but I have a Roush supercharger which is converted from MAF to SD. I believe the VMP Odin still uses MAF, no? Picture below is from VMP's site which looks like a MAF sensor. If so, are they changing/reading the factory MAP to an X bar sensor that shows boost?

I'm not sure TBH. I'm going to reach out to my tuner and see, Will call VMP as well. I imagine they have seen this issue pop up at some point.
