So after speaking with a friend of mine Dntalman, we noticed that in his 2015 Premium Auto GT that he has Boost/Vacuum on his factory gauges in the center, but on my 2016 Premium MT82 GT, I do not. My gauges only show Vacuum.

Am I missing something? I don't figure it's too accurate anyways, but just curious as to why he would have it and I wouldn't.

Maybe they ran out of gauges for that day :ford:...I think boost is only for the EB's...I'm probably wrong though :D

That's what he said :D. It is weird though. Both cars are supercharged, obviously not factory but.

My 2016 Premium just says vacuum, maybe it was a 2015 thing.

Just checked, my 2015 GT premium does in fact have boost (up to 20 psig) and vacuum on the gauge. Guess it's a sign from Ford I should go forced induction...

Looks like that mystery is solved... My 2015 GT premium also has vacuum/boost. There was a thread on this a couple days ago and people were wondering why there was no boost gauge on some models. Seems to be removed after 2015... Why it's in a GT, I don't really know lol.

The only model that should come with a boost gauge is the EcoBoost as it`s the only Forced Induction engine.

Naturally Aspirated engines can`t create Boost (or intake pressure) therefore only have a Vacuum gauge.

This is basic stuff, folks! C`mon.....

Yet some GTs still come with the boost gauge...

I think they know that they don't create boost without FI. They are wondering WHY the boost gauge is there and WHAT is the cut off for which models have it.

Correct, just curious why it was available in a 2015, and not in a 2016. May've just been something they removed. Would help now, obviously :D

Weird. Y'all bought those cars new? Because I know some people swap out the gauges on their GTPP to the EB cluster when they go FI.

My 2015 GTPP Premium has only vacuum, no boost.

I bought mine used with 9K miles. Believe he bought his new. His is a 2015 Premium Non-PP, mine is a 2016, same model. Not sure what the deal is then! I plan on doing the EcoBoost PP Gauges. Requires re-pinning the APIM ( believe that's what is it ) but I've yet to come across a good deal on the dash plate and gauges so.

The center gauge pack is part of the performance package. Since his is an auto / non-PP he would have originally had no center gauges. His boost gauge must have been swapped in.

MRose again, i'm speaking on the gauges in the center of the speedometer, and RPM gauge, not above the radio. He runs a Lund NGauge there, that's it.

His car actually displays Vacuum/Boost in the center " Track Apps Gauges " I guess you could say, mine shows only Vacuum.
