S550 Coyote + Corsa Xtreme is about as theatrical as it gets on these cars to my ears. Violent, raw, crisp and racy. Even my best friend (who owns a GT350) says that it sounds really good. Too loud though, and not everyone likes that kind of tone. A lot like the deeper, muscle tone. I don't care for that on the S550...doesn't fit the car.

GT500 axle-back since you're fortunate enough to not have to change the valence/diffuser.

I'm also in the camp of disliking the Corsa sound. I had the touring AB and the sport catback. I prefer the sound of a mid muffler or resonator in these cars to take some of the higher tones out, but I also much prefer the sound of a 4.6 4V any day. I really like the deep burble, but you gotta get what makes you happy. I'm extremely satisfied with my krona now.

I'm also very interested in someday switching to quad tips I really like the look.

To me it comes down to 2 camps... the deep burble muscle car old school sound.. which in my opinion does not fit the new euro S550 design... it's too pretty of a car now to have that old school burble...plus you have to deal with drone... I know because I owned a borla sport and it droned no matter what I did to fix it.
Then there is the Corsa which gives you a unique sound to the Coyote motor without compromising the pops.. crackles.. back gassing etc.... You also get some deeper tone/ depth if you go with the sport... but not raspy.(not so much with the extremes).. As an added bonus the exhaust doesn't drone period and can be silent (more silent than stock) when just cruising on the street or highway...so you don't end up exhausted - pun intended- when you get to your destination.
I've owned 2 corsa systems now and been very happy with both...
This is of course my opinion.

"If the sound of the 18 GT isn't intoxicating"
Sorry its not to me, its your opinion and I will respect it. Have you driven a GT 350 or even rode in one for that matter.
Must be your first Mustang ever, its ok welcome to the club.
The Voodoo is my favorite sounding engine but the Coyote is one of the best sounding engines out there.

Welding makes sense- providing more options.
Appreciate your feedback and some pics if you go down that road.

Just ordering a pair for now to see if I can at least mock them up and then I'll go from there.

agreed his post is so moronic and childish “have you driven a Gt 350....” hell have you driven a Ferrari? Then the 350 sounds bad... must be a kid/adolescent with poor logic like that. I love the coyote sound and the voodoo and the 240z and the .............

I think if you consider yourself a "car guy", you should be open minded enough to appreciate a wide range of well engineered engines instead of being a hipster about it. I prefer American muscle but I can appreciate European V8/V10/V12's, too.

Agreed 100%. Hipster, certainly not a car person. Some other person like that was fawning all over the GT500 exhaust and how the engineers know how to do it right vs all the after market offerings.

I've never had an issue getting an exhaust to sound great.

Wonder if these tips might work on the stock GT?

I am in the “old school” lower rumble exhaust camp. Having owned a ‘65 442, 67 RS Camaro convertible, ‘69 SS396 Chevelle, ‘69 442 W-32 and ‘74 Z28 Camaro. I like the factory exhaust sound on my ‘15 GT convertible. Since I also have the Ford Premium ESP until 07/09/2023 or 100K miles, I am keeping everything stock. I wanted a convertible Mustang and this CPO showed up at my local Ford dealer.

These look good to me, no branding on them either. I may try these. ^. Could use a bit more slant though imo
