the engineIn the blower?
Prochargertech meant sc oil, stick with PC sells for that. There is nothing wrong with running a 20-50 weight in the 5.0 engine. 30-40 weight is optimal for running the car hard and with a sc. I like Amsoil 0w40 as it meets new standard certifications and was designed for E85 in mind and is a true grade 4 oil.Oh, I meant engine oil, not the SC oil. Unless that's what you meant, too.

#1) Make sure belt isn't rubbing against the edge of ANY pulley.
#2) Sometimes the belt gets debris stuck to it, and causes plenty of sounds
#3) After there is a decent amount of miles on the belt, its a good idea to re-tension it, to make sure the tensioner isn't moving excessively.
Nice. I hope it works out. My fuel system to run E85 will be here Friday as well as a 4.50" pulley. Hoping to have it all dialed in next week.Well my car goes in for a tune revision late next week to see if we can't eliminate the surging with the IMRC intact. I'll let everyone know how it goes.
I hope you post pics/info on the fuel system...Not much info about the E85 systems that exist today.Nice. I hope it works out. My fuel system to run E85 will be here Friday as well as a 4.50" pulley. Hoping to have it all dialed in next week.
Me too, man. I'm having some hot cranking / starting / idle issues on E85 tuning at the moment, so I just switched back to my 11-14 manifold for a little bit to test it and log it. It wasn't the manifold apparently, so I'm about to switch it back to the 15 again.
Lund got most of the surging out of my stock manifold gas tune last revision. The rest was really just from the surge valve opening / shutting at the transition repeatedly. Much better than where it started at.
If I could just talk Lund into tuning this E85 with BAP / ID1000 man I'd be completely set right now.
He'd love to see how my car is ADDING timing at redline with 19 degrees already on it. I was lucky to see 12.5 on pump gas.
I definitely do.I have heard people say when they switched to E85, they had starting issues.
Also curious about how you do with the new fuel system.Nice. I hope it works out. My fuel system to run E85 will be here Friday as well as a 4.50" pulley. Hoping to have it all dialed in next week.

That is the hardest part to an E85 tune.I definitely do.
