Thanks for the info on the Windex and the spacer reminder, I had seen that but half forgot about it. Here is a pic of mine still in the box, I take it that's the spacer?

So I had a brain fart when I said I had ID1000 injectors, nope. I just remember seeing "1000" in the description. They are Deatshwerks 95lb (1000cc). I see they come with some little clips pre-attached. Hate to ask, but do I use these clips, the OEM ones, or non at all like the ID ones?

Thanks again for all the suggestions. Much appreciated.

The injectors is one of the easiest steps. I had never done them myself before and it was really nothing to it do not re-use the factory fuel injector clips the ID1000's don't need them if that is the kind you have. Use engine oil to lube the o-rings for the injectors. If you can't get a friend to help stretch it out to a couple of days so you don't end up trying to rush to finish it in one day. I had a hard time with the intercooler pipping on the Procharger side (drivers side.) Trimming the hose was not much fun.

Turns out I was wrong I don't have ID1000s, I have Deatschwerks 95lb (1000cc) ones.

Can someone confirm I don't use clips with the DWs?

Darn, I just checked my box and realized I have the DW's also. I just assumed they were ID's. That is the standard injector for the PC complete kit. I had been eyeballing the beefcake special which had ID1000's, and didn't really pay attention. doh!!

Kind of the same story for me. I just remembered "1000" in the description. I'm guessing they will work fine, just need to find out if they use the clips or not. Probably will make total sense once I get to that point of the install?

If their is a recess to put the clips into then use them, the id 1000's have no wheir to attach the clips. So if the dw's have the same recess as the stock ones put the clips on.Either way my opnion u will be fine, the fuel rails bolt down and are not going to let the injectors fall out.Use a little oil on the orings when seating in the fuel rail and intake.

The injectors and clips will be pretty self explanatory once you have it pulled apart. I wouldn't sweat those too much.

On the other hand, the fuel rail spacers might not be. When I got my kit, it came with the DW 1000cc injectors as a promotional upgrade which were not the standard injectors. The instructions said to use the provided fuel rail spacers before reinstalling the fuel rails. However, the DW injectors were the same length as the factory injectors, so I wasn't sure that was correct. I was afraid it would cause the injectors to stick further down than they were supposed to. In the end, I kept the factory fuel rail spacers and everything seems to work fine on mine. Maybe ProChargerTECH; might have a definitive answer there.

Make sure whoever is writing your tune knows you have DW and not ID injectors.

Seems I jumped the gun, re-read the instructions and it says to use the clips. So no more from me on that, lol. Looking at the instructions I have it doesn't mention anything about fuel rail spacers, just fuel rail insulation and plastic brackets.
Thanks again guys.

Okay, have to ask for some guidance. The lower radiator hose that goes to the new PC thermostat housing neck is supposed to be trimmed if it starts to kink? Well mine is sort of kinking at the bottom and since it's an "S" shape hose as it twists to fit the new neck the hose flattens out instead of being round. So I am positioning it as I think it would be if shorter but it still kinks a little, but still goes kind of flat. Only thing that concerns me is on a couple of other vehicles they had large coil springs inside that lower hose to keep it from collapsing and causing problems. Anyone care to chime in, do you remember this part of the install?

I'm in the same step I noticed it becomes kind of flat. I'm tempted to trim it abbot but I wonder if when the car starts running will it expand again.

That is one of the biggest pain in the asses with the kit. Just have to trim a little bit each time until it fits the best. Mine I trimmed maybe 1/8th inch too much but it works.

Just saying what i did .... mine did as well and I twisted it to the best position I could. Have logged 5000 miles on it since with some on 100 degree days and no over heating issues.

Yes, a slight twist should help.
